Bells Are Ringing on Etopia

Over this past weekend, Etopia was the location for a very beautiful partnership ceremony and celebration. The lucky couple actually met on Etopia many months ago and over time, learned that they would become more than just friends. The drum circle was moved aside and a beautiful wedding stage was built. It might become a more permament spot in the middle of our Old Growth forest.

Actually I hope that Etopia becomes the choice destination for many loving couples.

A Life of Its Own

I was walking around Etopia last night and noticed the incredible abundance of things which have been created by community residents. It is so exciting to have initated Etopia Island, and then stand back and watch to see what the residents do within the environment.

It is extremely satisfying to see displays, events and other creative projects come into being on an ongoing basis. For example one resident Luchpur, has just completed building a High Performance Sustainable Home which will have its grand opening this coming weekend. He has even commissioned an in-world Machinima maker to create a walking tour of the home that will be running as part of the Grand Opening.
